Welcome to my world, family. If you’ve landed here you are a lover of black culture, family, education and lifestyle. I hope that you are encouraged and inspired by something shared or posted beyond your wildest dreams. To know me is to know, I am a beautiful chaos. I am wisdom and strength interwoven with incredible courage. I am a well lived risk taker. I am a lover of laughter, dreams and anything caffeine related.

I consider myself a Social Impact Officer with a focus in Education and Creativity. By day, I serve as the Post Secondary Manager at an inner city high school. By night, I am a Blogger. Prior to my role as Post Secondary Manager I served 3 years as Dean of Students where I promoted restorative justice and elevated the culture and climate brand amongst staff, parents, students and community as well as secured external partnerships with major brands like Luster Products PINK KIDS, Mielle Organics and WCIU.

Before beginning my journey into education, I spent 10 years as a Creative Consultant, Content Creator and Producer in the entertainment industry working with brands like Stella Rosa Wines, Walgreens, African Pride Hair Care and Black Women's Expo. After curating major events and securing top tier interviews, I decided to take my skills and share them with the children of Chicago.

Through my educational platform I was the 2018 recipient of the WNBA Chicago Sky Redefine Possible Leadership Award. Aside from this recognition, my biggest career moment was sharing the stage with Reverend Jesse Jackson on the WORD Network for the Women’s History Month live broadcast.

On a personal note, my greatest JOY is being a mommy to my brave and brilliant prince, Zion.
